Austin Kleon is a writer, cartoonist and, in former lives, a librarian, web designer, and advertising copywriter. Austin's newspaper blackout poems--created by using a black marker to hide unnecessary words--have been featured on NPR’s Morning Edition, the PBS Newshour,  in The Wall Street Journal, and all over the web. He is a New York Times bestselling author of three books which have been translated into more than two dozen languages.
