A Lion emerged from his lair
For a short summer cut to his hair,
      But the Barber he wept,
      While his customers slept,
As they waited their turn in the chair.

Joseph G. Francis, also known as Joseph Greene (1849 - 1930) was the author of at least fifteen books. Despite extensive research, we have been unable to find more information
about him. Any details about his life would be greatly appreciated.
