Big Legs

Big Legs

Big legged woman in purple stilettoes
twisting, twisting morning to midnight
stopping traffic down on Main
twisting; every woman envies you

Clickety clack, clickety click, clack
breasts bounce, hips sway, hemline swings
inhale scent of orchids, Jasmine Blue;
men puff wooden pipes and leer at you

A vintage black doll with beauty bursting
out of burning moon berry lips
and nails, caramel skin, auburn hair
woman in high heels soothes souls

Like a Caribbean cruise under fiery moon;
breasts rise to thumps of red valentine
along with Barry White’s low rumble,
“Can’t Get Enough of Your Love”

Begonias sleep, birds crawl home
in my sleep; your silhouette’s their mirror
clickety clack, clickety clack, click…
every click-clack a heel in heart

"every woman envies you", "moonberry lips and nails", "every click-clack a heel in heart".... Gotta love that attitude! This "big legged woman" knows who she is!
