The Sacred Thread

Life's sacred threads
weave my wings
with shades of blue
where gold spirals through
Shot with joie de vivre

(I am coming out of a cave...)

they flutter into form
slow then quick
the way a dancer
moves across a stage
each part revealing
a little more of the same

(from dark closet to infinite space)

vive la difference—
particle expands infinitely
into fractals shot with
shimmering light
so my story begins

(archetype finds a new voice)

with new wings
of fractal light patterns—
I am being re-woven
bit by bit on earth
against the sky

(arms embrace birth of glory)

I rise high—old cosmic story
flows through me
Find me wherever
you hide... skin feathers
spirals all aglow
