Well, Well (reprise)

there are two

yours and mine

and we trade waters

that is to say, we begin to care for the other's state of well

tending less to our own

this is where our depth of well has grown

this is love

or facsimile thereof

draw deep from the cool water

and the thirst is done

two buckets drawn from the same place

I really like this poem. Especially the first three lines. Very strong.

the idea that love is as important as water? Maybe for some. Now to make sure that the water (love) does not get stagnant or poisoned
