Fruit Section by Louis Marvin |

the poetry books
the poetry now on line
oh the long winded ones I have no time for, that my English teacher swear's will change my life
the brave regal, royals of poetry
those struggling soldiers and cowboys try to write a verse through campfire smoke
we are all some sorts of strange fruit
for you to squeeze, taste, and use on the cereal of your mind
and if you ain't got the time, or it sits sour on your flakes, instead of meekly and sweetly
then just discard it in the dumpster, like so much "rotten" fruit has gone before
