Scared To Love
by
zachary Holcombe

Scared to move, scared to breathe.
Scared that you may be the one for me.
I love you... Love you... love you so...
Now my heart can no longer grow

No longer scared to move, or scared to breathe.
Because I know it's meant to be.
You gave me hope, you gave me faith.
These feelings I have are yours to break.

You gave me warmth, you made me safe.
I'd stand in awe to see your face.
You hold my hand, you kiss my cheek.
Paralyzed down to my feet.

Scared again, I failed to see.
That you never felt this for me.
All a lie, the truth I see.
So alone, no strength, just weak.

You took it all, my heart, my soul.
How is it so easy for you to go.
Hurts to move, hurts to breathe.
This hurt is all you left for me.
