A Deep Breath

A feeling of relief,
of clarity.
A feeling so pure that runs through my veins.
A feeling of the rhythm my heart skips to,
of the tempo my heart sings to.
This feeling reaches and uplifts my soul.
Keeps me lifted on my toes.
It sends me on a quest,
A flight!
I can’t even imagine how far past the sky
the clouds rubbing on the tips of my fingers,
the wind striking every inch of my skin.
As I begin to believe this feeling could not get any better,
I soon find myself in the heavens.
The galaxies seem at reach,
and as I glance into a solar eternity,
I become overwhelmed by a feeling of seduction.
Called upon by the two brightest stars in the neptunes.
Enchanted by my sight.
Soon after,
I zoom back to earth.
Delighted by joy,
for I know who I hold in my arms.
And all I want to do
Is tell you of the adventures I go in.
each deep breath I take,
when I’m with you.
