Enough Already
by
Phyllis Beckman

What? This is spring
Though it's stiill snowing?
All magic is gone.
Each unique snowflake
Exquisitely boring,
A yawn.

This can't be spring
As the night's snowfall
Transformed the lawn,
Blurring my vision
Obscuring all boundaries
Blinds drawn.

Let it be spring
White witch of winter
Be gone!
Melt into puddles
Of potent potential
So long!

Yearning for spring
Wretched watch of winter
I'm strong.
Calendars sing as
April approaches...
Swan song!

I like this. It moves and has the inner beat of some music. Great job.
