He smiles at me,
his easy, gentle smile.
I cannot recall
what humorous moment
caught his eye that day.
Now, fifty years adrift,
that smile is my morning cup of tea.

The children -
Photo conscious -
surround him.
Remembrances to treasure.
Mortar- boards, prams,
dresses - weddings -
cosseted in love -
and silver frames.

We start each day with love
and smile together.

For myself, I find this delightful. I can relate to it very much, as my wife and I approach 40 years together.

Or change the title to morning cup of tea. I really like that line.

Some really nice touches, but the central image of frames might (I think) be introduced to advantage in the first stanza (instead of "morning cup of tea") and last stanza.
