A Maintenance Problem
by
Donal Mahoney

Take it from Martin, if
you live in an old house,
as much as you love it,
bad things happen

Despite maintenance,
the roof begins to leak,
the foundation cracks,
the furnace goes out.

You call in the experts,
spend a lot of money
and one problem is solved
but another screams louder.

Finally you figure
this gracious old house,
as much as you love it,
can no longer be fixed.

Take it from Martin, if
you live in an old body,
the day will come when
the same thing happens.
