The Jogger

The dusk is setting in
and she decides to jog
April’s cool clean air soothing her face
the distant powerful moon guiding her path
The majestic mountain looming
the rolling meadows so enticing
the luminous kaleidoscopic sky unfurling
the brightly-lit lamppost silently watching
Run run she does
towards a perfect finish to a perfect day.
