Of Crop Circles and Birthers

Let believers dream of UFO's softly hovering, honoring mandalas in rice paddies,

Let "birthers" entertain outrage at Obama, born in Africa, willing to leave the cradle of civilization to enter our womb or wrongs, bringing civility to citizens capable of entertaining civility.

Give me permission to consult the I Ching, to relinquish control, to go with the flow, to live the wisdom of poet Ellen Kort's truth line:
"Everything that happens will happen and none of us will be safe from it."

Let legislators yield to poets, poets to the The I Ching, and "birthers" to Obama.

Or not.
