Dream Hugs

Well , we both know it’s bedtime,

But, instead, we think that it’s time

To catch up on what we missed—

Think about those lips that we haven’t kissed

In such a long time.

It’s been such a long time.

I’ve got stuff to do tomorrow;

You’ve got stuff as well,

But all of those things are tomorrow.

We’ll worry about them tomorrow

Your voice is so lovely.

I hope my voice is lovely to you, too.

I love you.

You ask me silly things, [to] kiss my phone,

[and] hug my pillow,

[to] think of you;

It’s a ritual.

I’m trying to lock you in my head.

You’re trying to lock me in your head

So that we can find

each other, and give each other

Dream hugs.

I sure enjoyed this, Jayne. Listened to them singing as well and that was even better. Dream Hugs is going to play in this home a few more time today. Love the picture.
